San-Diego Based Kontrol Wheels produces some of the finest skateboard wheels in the world, using a patented, innovative urethane processing technique. After all that, they really wanted their wheels to look dope.
Although the technology is new, Kontrol wanted a look hearkening back to the heyday of skateboarding, Nintendo and Hobie Cats. They called upon Squonk’s Tim Lillis, who as you can see was more than up to the task.
